How does the Daily Roll work?

At midnight UTC, one seeded roll of twelve letter dice goes out to the whole world — every player gets the exact same puzzle. Connect all twelve tiles into a single crossword to complete the day.

How do streaks work?

Complete the Daily Roll to extend your streak by one. Miss a day and the streak resets. Free Play games are unlimited and don't affect your streak.

Which words count?

Wordsicle checks your words against a built-in dictionary of over 370,000 English words. Words need at least three letters, and every tile on the board has to connect into one crossword.

How do I add the widget?

Press and hold your Home Screen, tap the + button, search for Wordsicle, and pick a size. The widget shows your streak and whether today's roll is still waiting.

Where is my data stored?

Everything lives on your device — Wordsicle has no accounts and no servers. Deleting the app deletes your streak and history, so hold onto it if you're proud of that number. See the privacy policy for the full story.
